Salty’s sports bar & Mike’s

Located in The Shoppes at Grand Harbour, Salty’s is the neighbourhood hangout where residents gather to cheer on their favourite teams, families use the playground and friends meet for drinks after a long day of work. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and laid-back. Inside the main bar, you’ll find 24 large screen TV’s meaning there’s virtually no bad seat in the house whether you’re a fan of the Premier Leage football, NFL, NHL, Formula 1 or the latest playoff action. Outside, they have a covered patio with picnic bench seating where families are equally well catered for. While the adults relax over drinks, children can enjoy the outdoor playground and bouncy castle make Salty’s one of the few sports bars on island where everyone feels welcome.

Salty's has become a go-to gathering place thanks to its popular weekly theme nights and nightly specials. Put your knowledge to the test during Monday Trivia Night, enjoy crowd-favourite CI$1 Wing Wednesdays or stop by for their much loved Steak Night every Thursday. These events create a fun, social atmosphere that brings residents back regularly. The main menu is massive and features English classics from fish & chips to cottage pie, but is mostly known for their American dishes, including pizzas, burgers and chicken wings. I highly recommend you order their chicken wings with my husband’s Cayman Peppa Sauce, for the most unique wing sauce on island.

You can also head to their outside satellite bar, Mike’s, for a more intimate outdoor setting with 3 TV screens and the same friendly bartenders. This is the place to visit on Friday nights from 9pm onwards where a DJ . It also is the only place that you can order their late night pizza menu until 11:45pm every Friday and Saturday night, which is much better than gas station pizza.
