Heritage kitchen

You may recognise Heritage Kitchen from it’s colourful wooden building hidden along Boggy Sand Road. They are one the longest running local kitchens and have been familiar pitstop for both tourists and locals alike. Their laidback setup features an indoor kitchen with shaded picnic tables outside of it for patrons to dine. Their meatier dishes include Jerk Chicken, BBQ Ribs and Oxtail, but during the weekends you’ll find they serve an array of seafood dishes using local grouper, snapper and wahoo. It’s your choice on the fish preparation; from pan-fried in coconut oil or smothered in curry to being topped with freshly grated coconut or made ‘Cayman-style’ with a tomato & pepper based sauce. It’s cozy, quaint and totally Instagrammable, so pop by and see why this legendary restaurant is still around.
